It all Begins, continued

Steps sounded on the stairs. A soft knock at her door and Aunt Candace entered.
          "Hello Mandy."
          "Hi Aunt Candace."

A stray gust of wind travels through Mandy's bedroom window and blows some sun-born dust into a funnel-like swirl. A ray of sunshine, passing through the same window as the breeze, lights the individual particles of dust. Mandy's fingertips tingle as suddenly all of her senses are more intense. The rest of her skin tingles too, as the sunlight becomes very bright.
Mandy blinks. She sees a Glow in and around her aunt, but it's not always visible. Candace seems to read her mind.
"When we catch up to your classmates, Sandy and April, I'll have you Cast your first Spell, Seventh Sight. Then you'll be able to see all things Magikal. Well... at least more clearly than you See them now." Candace smiles at Mandy as she starts to think. I keep forgetting that my niece has barely passed through Magikal Puberty. There are a lot of basics that she still needs to do and learn.
"Have you memorized the Rules I gave you?" Candace asks.
"Sure thing! Want to hear them?"
"OK. You sound eager." Aunt Candace gives Mandy a look usually reserved for proud mothers and teachers whose pupils surpass them.
"Rule #1. A Magikal Force, once set in motion, remains in motion until acted upon by an external Magikal Force. And conversely a Magikal Potential, unrealized, remains dormant unless acted upon by an initiating Magikal Force."
"WOW! It sounds like you memorized it word for word. "
"Uh huh." Mandy tries not to blush. Her aunt's praise is like a summer thunderstorm on parched grass after a drought.
"Now what does that really mean? "
"Well, if I start a Magikal Action, it continues to do its thing unless another Magical thing stops it," the redheaded teen says.
          "OK, and Rule #2 is?"
"Rule #2. For every good Magikal Spell Cast there is an equal but opposite Evil Potential released," Mandy recites.
          "This means what?" Candace prompts.
"If I cast a Good Spell or do a Good Conjure, then I have to deal with the balancing Evil."
"And we deal with the balancing Evil?"
